Hi everyone, I am Anh. Welcome to my blog, it is
created for my English class. To be honest, I am too scared to write but I stop
thinking about that and just try my best. I will blog regularly in the next
four months and my topic is photography. I confess the reason I chose this
topic is that it has fascinated me for years.
A long time ago, when I was 12 years old, my parents had to move to other city for their work for three months, so I was sent to my uncle’s house and live with him. My uncle was a wedding photographer in town and his job required him to work outdoor a lot. I couldn’t stay home alone so he brought me with him every time he went shooting outdoor. Since those days, I had seen so many things for the first time in my life and they were very interesting.

Summer before high school, I had nothing to do then I asked my uncle to come to his house and work for him as a part time job. I saved all money he paid me to buy his old film camera and one roll of film. It took me one day to reach the end of camera roll with 12 photos. With film cameras, we couldn’t see photo’s previews so I gave a roll of film to my uncle and he helped me washing photos. It was sad feeling when I got those photos because they are really bad.
I wanted to study more about photography in a serious way. I decided to take photography course for extracurricular class in high school. I got to know photography basic knowledge and it was hard and totally different than what I thought. My love of photography began after having opportunity to know about it.
I am not a photographer but I love photography. Photography is different for everyone and each photograph has its own story. For me photography gives me a chance to capture and express world under my eyes and how I see thing, and add my emotion in photos. I also learn how other people see, think and feel things from their photos. Photography is a topic which I chose to belong with in the whole semester. I will blog anything about photography such as the history of photography and its developing, kinds of photography, cameras, skills to capture in different scenes and condition, and effects of photography to people and life, etc.
I hope photography will be not a boring topic for everyone. I will try my best to write it in different issues.
Are you not a photographer because you don't make a living at it, or because you don't take any more photos? That would be a real shame, I think.
